• Make use of luggage, gym bags, duffel bags- pack any clothing, shoes, purses, etc. After all, there’s no need to move them empty!
• Reuse any saved electronic boxes (tv boxes, ipad boxes, xbox, etc.)
• Fill up any baskets, bins, containers
• If you take any furniture apart, keep all hardware together and labeled inside a plastic bag
• Take pictures of the back of electronics for easy re-connection 
• Keep clothing inside dresser drawers 
• If it doesn’t fit in a box , it’s ok! It can be moved as is. 
• Check with your local grocery store or package store for used boxes
• Always ask your mover if they have any used boxes, which are FREE
• Allow any refrigeration appliance to sit for at least an hour before plugging back in 
• Use empty egg cartons to pack loose jewelry
• Drain gas and oil from lawn equipment 
• Stuff a dish towel or packing paper inside small drawers to ensure no loose items fall out during the moving process
